Destination Wedding Photography
Destination weddings are very popular- what’s not to like! But wedding photography is very different from one country to another. Choosing your destination wedding photographer here will ensure you have the style and the person you want and that communication before, during and after the event is easy.

Why choose your photographer in England if you get married abroad?
Photography, like everything else is very cultural, so photographers from different countries will give you a very different experience. For example, in Spain it’s difficult to bring your own photographer, often the venue says who you should have. In Morocco, the style is very different, it’s more about lining people up, taking various photos with direct flash, running to get them developed and selling them to the guests without any post -production.
I speak French and Spanish and can communicate in Italian and am happy to greet people, translate etc if needed.
Alix was brilliant at our wedding in Northern Ireland. Really made us feel comfortable & the resulting photographs were very natural & really captured the atmosphere of the day. I met Alix at my sister’s wedding & having seen her work did not consider anyone else for my own dayFiona and John
When I met JC online I’d sent him one of Alix’s photos of me- and he fell in love; so when we decided to get married it was Alix we wanted. She captured the day beautifully and we enjoyed taking time away from people to get some beautiful images by the sea in the village I grew up in.Mahina & J-C
In recent years, I have shot weddings in England, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Morocco. We were married in France too.
I agree a price with the couple, which includes photography and travel costs. So far all the families have put me up to save money and I am happy to get to know people better.
If you can’t take me with you, I can photograph a party here for the other people who couldn’t come. Several of my couples who got married abroad had receptions here, ranging from a nearly full wedding to a Las Vegas Party complete with casino, Elvis and Go-Go girls!
