Engagement photos in Bristol

Yes Bristol. I don’t usually go that far for a small shoot but when I Know the people who want the photos, or if I have friends I can visit in the area, I quite like an adventure. In this case it was both. Teresa is the daughter of a long time friend so I met her when she was much younger and it’s heartwarming to see her become this stylish, fun, adult woman in love with her girlfriend. (it also makes me feel slightly old but age is just a number isn’t it)

As I didn’t know the area, Jess decided on where to go, we were aiming for golden hour but in the woods it was a bit dark. The main thing was to make them comfortable enough for them to have fun, enjoy the session and let their personalities and love shine through.

I asked them in turn to stand next to me so they would nook at each other rather than me. Seeing how they look at each other, it’s easy to see their love and fun.

On the way back to dinner, we saw a park bathed in golden light so stopped to grab a few more photos.
