Castle Donington Manor Hotel Wedding published in Diva

Castle Donington Manor Hotel wedding in Diva magazine.

Andrea and Amanda’s Castle Donington Manor Hotel wedding has been published in Diva magazine. In fact it was a civil ceremony at the time, as gay weddings weren’t legal yet. They chose a hotel, which has many advantages: people can get accommodation at the venue, there is a car park, no need to travel between venues; it’s accessible too so friendly to everyone. The hotel had designated a whole area just for the wedding party, not just one room, so people could hang out outside, and inside, in the room, corridor etcso it didn’t feel that we were surrounded by other customers. The garden was exclusively ours and offered different areas for mingling and photos.

They wore matching outfits with a blue theme and had a really relaxed day with some of their friends playing music and singing.I was totally surprised by their chachacha first dance, much faster than usual first dances but a lot of fun. I’ve known Andrea since our kids were at school together so it was especially lovely to see her so happy and Mandy is adorable.I loved doing their engagement shoot too even though it was super cold, and they used these photos for their wedding decorations.

Some of my clients don’t want their images published for safety and privacy reasons, so I am grateful to Andrea and Amanda for allowing me to publish their ceremony not only on my blog but nationally.

Love is love and I celebrate it regardless of gender, sexuality, religion, nationality.. If you’d like to see another same sex wedding, click here.
