Beaumanor Hall, located in Loughborough, is a stunning 19th-century historical venue with many interesting rooms, including King Richard’s Room, where you can get ready. It’s also home to the Loughborough registry office and offers a range of wedding packages.
The hall features ornate ceilings, sculpted doors and bannisters, a magnificent staircase, and many photogenic areas, including ancient gardens. While the timings are strict and the gate does get locked for registry office-only packages, the venue’s beauty makes it worth enjoying.

The Curzon Room
Best for small weddings and elopements
Ideal for small weddings of up to 10 guests, including the photographer and witnesses, the Curzon Room is available for Thursday weddings. It includes only the legal formulas and contracts, without personal vows or readings, making the ceremony last 15-20 minutes. Couples can enjoy 15 minutes of photography outside the building, with no photography allowed inside apart from the ceremony.
The Railton Room
Best for personalised ceremonies
Accommodating up to 58 people, the Railton Room is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and select Sundays.
As well as the photos of the ceremony, you can get 20 minutes of photography outside and one photo of the staircase on weekdays for a classic ceremony. For weekend weddings, the enhanced ceremony option provides 30 minutes of photography, with more photos of the ceremony itself, capturing your reactions, the readings and how you make the ceremony unique to you.
Make Beaumanor Hall Your Own for a Day
In addition to having your registry office wedding, you can also book Beaumanor Hall as your wedding venue for a full day, allowing you to fully enjoy its rooms, grounds, and gardens. I have photographed several weddings and parties at Beaumanor Hall, which offers a wide range of possibilities. It requires minimal decorating due to its ornate nature, but is flexible enough to accommodate different tastes and visions.

My style is natural and unobtrusive, capturing discreet moments during the ceremony, as well as group shots, couple photos, and candid moments when time allows.
1 hour: £175
Any additional hour: £100
Remember that I need to be at the ceremony room at least 15 minutes before the ceremony and count as a guest.
