Intimate Micro Wedding & Elopement Photographer

Small wedding photography for the non-traditional

Because you deserve beautiful, timeless wedding photos without the stress of a ‘big’ event.

Small wedding photography packages are perfect for couples who want to capture memories of their ceremony and guests but are not having a big reception afterwards, or plan to celebrate on another day in a different city or country.

As an intimate wedding photographer, I’ve had the chance to capture many micro weddings and elopements across the UK, and I can confidently say that these weddings are just as emotional and joyful, filled with all the significant moments worth capturing!

Everyone should have the chance to get memories of their special days without paying for a full day – that’s why I offer up to two hours of photography for small weddings in Loughborough, Leicester, Nottingham and Derby, with all the photos for £275.

You can add more time if needed, but there’s no pressure.

I also shoot micro weddings in London and Wales but do charge for travel and accommodation if needed.

“We are delighted with our wedding photos from Alix. She was really friendly and natural and showed real imagination in our photos. Alix was very helpful both before and during our wedding and made everyone feel at ease. Our photos were ready the same evening, super efficient, and excellent value. Thank you once again and we can’t recommend you highly enough.” – Rachel & Andy

Why Choose a Small Wedding or Elopement?

Micro weddings and elopements are still popular among couples who choose to do the ‘legal paperwork’ in advance because they are planning a bigger celebration abroad or want to have a more personal ceremony conducted by a loved one. In certain cases, couples decide to do their legal ceremony more quickly than their planned wedding due to moving abroad or acquiring necessary visas.

Whatever the reason, it doesn’t mean that your legal wedding is not significant. On the contrary, it’s the day you officially start your new chapter as a married couple and declare your commitment to each other. In my experience, elopements and small weddings offer a great opportunity to capture your love and the beginning of your journey in a much more relaxed and authentic setting than a traditional wedding day.

Natural, Documentary Approach to Small Wedding Photography

My photos will capture your emotions, love, and commitment without any fuss, posing or pressure. A relaxed, intimate wedding photography for couples who just want a few memories without breaking the bank.

I travel and shoot abroad too, so let me know where you’re going!

Alix was our wedding photographer and we loved sharing the day with her. She fitted in like one of the family and took wonderful pictures. She is highly professional and creative, I highly recommend her.” – Sara Smyth
