Big Family Photoshoot in Derbyshire

As families grow, it’s more and more difficult to get whole family photos so many people rent places for a week end. The Peak district is a really beautiful place and very convenient when people live up and down the country, so once more I shot  a big family photoshoot in Derbyshire.

This family was celebrating a 40th anniversary as well as the joy of being all together: 4 couples and 2 little children. All kinds of permutations in the photos,  some more posed, some totally natural, everyone up for playing and having fun, everyone happy to play the games I invited them to including blowing bubbles.

The photos are full of life, not everyone is watching the camera but the expressions are authentic, the feelings of love and joy visible and they feel like time standing still rather than people standing stiff. What do you think?
