Bluebells Family Photoshoot In Leicestershire

I really hope you had as good a Sunday as I did. It was sunny, warm and I got to photograph a couple I love with their baby, in the wood we had shot their engagement photos, in the bluebells. A perfect day. When I do repeat shoots with people, I get to know them well and everyone is so much more relaxed. I had photographed William nearly a year a go, when he was very small and he is nearly walking, and has become a very smiley, very loving little boy, I got lots of cuddles and my heart melted.

Bluebells are beautiful and hold some special memories for me, but also for Matt and Em whose pre-wedding photoshoot we did in the flowers too as they were having a Dr Who wedding.

I don’t use many props to keep things natural but we had fun making William laugh and keep him entertained. He is so expressive and his parents clearly adore him and each other. A photoshoot is first of all an opportunity to spend quality time as a family and William discovered not just bluebells, he touched trees, sat on branches, listened to birds and had a lovely time.

I have games to play for older children so I look forward to playing them with him later on.
