Family Portraits near Loughborough Leicestershire

An ideal family photography session near Loughborough. We went to the beautiful Whatton Gardens. The weather was perfect, we even had to look for shade as it was really  bright and hot. The girls were full of life and joy, laughing, playing, skipping, running. The parents were really relaxed. The focus was on having a good time, enjoying an afternoon out and getting photos that captured that togetherness.

It’s important to have photos regularly to see the kids grow up and for us to be in the photos too so they have memories of us, not just us of them. It’s when they grow up that these photos will become even more special to them, to share with their boyfriends/ girlfriends, to laugh together as siblings.

For their session, this family had chosen blue and white as their colours so there was a sense of harmony but everyone dressed as they wanted. Clashing colours aren’t great but a uniform would be just as bad. I’m happy to help with clothing ideas if need be.
