Leicester Hindu Wedding Photographer:
Meetal and Dee’s wedding: over two days and in four venues
A real mix of traditional and modern for a vibrant, stunning, fun wedding. Starting with the bridal preparations at the Belmont hotel, going onto Leicester Registry with photos by the Castle and finishing the first day- well the second as I also shot the mehndi party- with an amazing masquerade party and what a dress! I’m still stunned!
Meetal is a hair and make up artist- see her work on Facebook under make up by M- and Dee is a musician so both are creative and enjoy beauty and partying.
The second day was the Hindu wedding at the Empire, an old church converted for weddings and events , a favourite for Asian weddings as it can host large numbers. It is a really beautiful venue even if the outside is a bit drab.
I love shooting ceremonies over many days as I get to know the family and wedding party and feel part of the inner circle which means I know the important people to photograph and can help in many ways.
If you’re looking for a Leicester Hindu wedding photographer who understands the rituals and the culture yet offers fresh, natural photography, give me a call on 07763064497. Thank you. Alix
PS: if you haven’t see it yet, have a look at their pre-wedding photoshoot- in two parts, a vintage 1940s photoshoot at the Grand Union Train Station and a spring session at Whatton Gardens.
