When a couple has already had a pre-wedding photoshoot, the wedding day naturally feels more relaxed. They know how I work, they’ve seen how beautiful their photos are, and they’re comfortable in front of the camera. This was exactly the case with Krishna and Yatik—I had photographed their engagement shoot just weeks before, so capturing their wedding at Prestwold Hall felt like reuniting with old friends.

Prestwold Hall is a stunning venue—not too big but it can accommodate a middle-sized wedding. I love all the alcoves, rich-coloured walls, and paintings that make for timeless wedding photography. Indoors and out, there are endless possibilities for beautiful portraits. It’s a venue that doesn’t need much decorating, but with the right personal touches, it transforms effortlessly. I’ve photographed other weddings at Prestwold Hall, and it’s always a joy to see how each couple makes it uniquely theirs. This was Krishna and Yatik’s registry wedding, with their Asian ceremony planned for later. Krishna’s dress was a perfect choice for her petite frame—she seemed to float effortlessly throughout the day.
