Red-themed Pub Wedding in Sutton Cheney
When I met Alison I knew we’d get on, I loved her house, warm, eclectic, full of wonders of the world and joyful colours so I was particularly looking forward to her wedding. She’d shown me the kind of dresses she was interested in: colourful, exotic, unique and I couldn’t wait to see her in it.
Grant and her had chosen to have a pub wedding at The Royal Arms – not to watch the rugby, no, there wasn’t a screen in view – but for the warm atmosphere, quirkiness of the decors, the close-knit feeling of the smallish rooms and the variety of places to hang out in, both indoors and outdoors.
The theme was red. Red tie, red boutonniere, red hair, red drinks
The bouquet was autumnal, berries, oak leaves, and .. red flowers. The dress was Indian, rich red and sparkly
I love how her tattoos showed through!
Most of the photos were natural. For the group shots, wherever I can, I like shooting in between the poses
We also had some fun in the late sunshine, in a field next to the pub. The first thing I saw when I drove in was the sky, and I wanted to feature it.
I came back elated and couldn’t wait to show them the photos before they went on their honeymoon.
If you or on of your friends are having a quirky, joyful, unique wedding, do get in touch, please, I’d love to be your photographer! 07763064497
