Autumn mini-shoot in Loughborough
A mini-shoot is just that: taking 15- 30 minutes to capture some images before the kids get soaked- it was spitting.
We started in my garden where the Virginia creeper was rich in colours, then went to the top of the road on Epinal way where the cherry trees make a corridor of colours, first whites in spring then reds in autumn.
It was to capture mum and baby, 6 months after I saw them at the birth as they’d not had photos of the two of them together, but of course I couldn’t keep the boys away too long, beautiful and vibrant kids that they are.
The shoot was mainly to take photos of mother and daughter but the boys were being very patient and lovely and of course I couldn’t resist taking some photos of them.
As sometimes happen, one of them fell down, but his big brother was there to pick him up and give him love. I am so touched by how he totally surrenders himself to that hug…
Meanwhile, the little one is observing everything and everyone including me. She wouldn’t look at me when my cat was out- obviously much more interesting.
And a final cuddle with mummy. The session only took 30 minutes
The leaves are falling fast but it’s still possible to do an autumn mini-shoot in Loughbrough, or to go to Derbyshire and do a full vibrant autumn photoshoot.
