Pros: Really beautiful venue indoors, with several rooms you can use. Balcony for overview of the party, several staircases and beautiful spaces for photos indoors. Very central and walking distance to Leicester registry at the town hall- Exclusive to your party- Can seat up to 200 guests – Bedroom and car park space for the bride and groom- Bar- Lift to reception room- A few bedrooms for the guests. In house catering. Approved for registry weddings
Cons: A 10-15 minutes walk to NCP car parks- No particular outdoor space for couple photos although groups and confetti shots are can be done at the front though. No lift to bedrooms.
Weddings: Muslim wedding at City Rooms – Multicultural Wedding at City Rooms – Book-themed wedding at City Rooms – Registry wedding at City Rooms
Pros: Old church converted into a hall, so beautiful architecture and stunning lighting. One of the biggest venues in Leicester – can sit up to 500 people!- so very appreciated for Asian weddings- can separate areas with screens so can be segregated for Muslim weddings- Balcony for couple shots and overview of the party. Car park spaces. Within Leicester. Catering option.
Cons: No outdoor space- External space not very pretty- No accommodation. No bar-
Wedding: Hindu wedding at the Empire
Pros: Very central boutique hotel. Comfortable and stylish bar area. In house bar and catering- seats up to 80 people with 120 for evening reception- Great balconies at the top of the building with views over Leicester. Accessible. 14 bedrooms so exclusivity possible is all the rooms are booked. Reduced rate parking.
Cons: no onsite car park, although it is very near- Not enough accommodation for all your party. No outdoor space for couple or group shots- Reception only, no registry weddings (but the town hall isn’t far)
Wedding: Leicester registry wedding with party at the Maiyango Hotel.
Pros: Beautiful, light indoor space seating up to 200 people – Cathedral gardens area open for photos – Very central- Near a NCP car park – Limited car park for VIPs – In house bar –
Cons: no accommodation- limited onsite car spaces- Reception only, no registry weddings.
Pros: can seat 350 people and more- dance floor, bar, on-site car park. Accessible
Cons: No outdoor space for photos- No natural light- party room, not for registry weddings.
Wedding: Leicester HIndu wedding: you will see here getting ready at the Belmont hotel- see below- and have a masked ball at the Symphony rooms.
Pros: Central, gives onto New walk so easy to take some photos outdoors with no traffic. Various rooms all decorated- Accommodation for the whole party – In house bar and catering- Accessible – Car park- Approved for registry weddings
Cons: No garden – Not necessarily exclusive to your party.

Pros: Accommodation and car park for the whole party – In Leicester but very quiet – Near an Arboretum so lots of green spaces for photos- In house catering and bar – Approved for registry weddings
Cons: Not exclusive to your party- Limited dates available.
Pros: Very central- Near the rain station- Car park- In house catering- Several rooms available- Exclusive- Nice front of the house for confetti shots- sits up to 200 guests- Approved for registry weddings
Cons: No accommodation- No outdoor space or gardens for groups and couple shots- Very little natural light indoors.

Pros: Huge capacity of up to 2000 people and 350 cars in the car park – Funky lighting on the ceiling- Getting ready room – Air conditioning
Cons: No natural light indoor- No place for outdoor photos – No accommodation –

Pros: Accommodation and car park – Accessible – Modern, with interesting features to take couple photographs in, In house bar and catering – Sits up to 300 – high tech audio visual services- Entrance hall light and good for guests to rest and relax in-

Pros: a beautiful building with gardens, with many photographic possibilities both indoors and outdoors so perfect even in winter. In-house catering for all kinds of cultures and diets- parking, accommodation, available for exclusive hire- for up to 550 guests.

Pros: very central to Leicester; beautiful, historical building from the 14th century, up to 90 guests. Accessible. Drinks reception. PA system
Cons: no parking or accommodation on site. Very dark rooms. The courtyard is quite small so doesn’t have many opportunities for group and couple photos. It’s good to plan a walk into town or other places for more photos.
