Nikah in Loughborough

Having a wedding photographer doesn’t have to be for the whole day, this first of January I photographed a Muslim wedding, a Nikah in Loughborough, to capture a mix of group shots and natural shots in between them for this beautiful couple to have professional photos of their ceremony. I was there only for one hour but it gives the flavour of the day and shows the beautiful outfits everyone was wearing.

It was held at the Rosebery community centre, in Loughborough and styled beautifully.

My favourites are the in between shots, where people relax, kids photobomb the image, when people look elsewhere, or even better when they connect, and their happiness comes alive on their faces.

After the group photos, there was the cutting of the cake and the symbolic feeding of each other, which led to funny faces and laughing. 

Aren’t they both amazingly beautiful? I wish them every happiness in their married life.
