Winter family photoshoot in Loughborough
It was cold, I mean really cold, there was snow on the ground yet the families came to celebrate grandad’s big birthday. But the main celebration was the two new additions to the family, two gorgeous baby boys born a few weeks apart. The first one came out of the car with trembling lips and I was worried it was indeed too cold, but both babies were so good, no tear, lots of cuddles and kisses, many giggles and some flying like an aeroplane.
The shoot wasn’t a typical one , we didn’t play games or sit on the ground, we just went for a short walk and took photos of the whole family, the kids, the families, and other little groups to honour the whole tapestry of loving relationships.
I couldn’t decide between the colour photos and the black and white ones so I gave them both lots, what do you think? which ones do you like best?
I love how much grandad loves his babies, don’t you? I’m not there yet, but I’ve heard from my mother that the love a grandparent feels for their grand children is a total surprise and totally magical, totally overwhelming. If you want to capture these special relationships, give me a call. Thank you.
This was shot at Beacon Hill, Leicestershire. but I shoot all around Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire as well as around Birmingham, and sometimes further, just get in touch, I love discovering new places.
