Destination Wedding Photographer France

Destination Wedding Photographer France : Marjorie et Thierry

It was a two day affair over two countries. In France, the legal wedding is done at the town hall by the mayor, like at the registry in England.  The church wedding takes place afterwards to marry the couple in the eyes of God. So Marjorie had two dresses and Thierry saw his bride walking down the aisle twice and he did cry twice too.

The first day was very relaxed, we took photos in Nice and had a lovely family picnic outdoors. It was incredibly hot already and I sunburned. In the evening we went to the Italian venue to decorate and scout lovely locations for the couple after the church ceremony. I would have loved doing a shoot on the beach too but I know I always have more ideas than time allows.

The church was quite spectacular, all white outside, and quite modern inside. The ceremony was in the afternoon, and we went to some gardens high up over Nice for some canapes in the olive trees afterwards. Of course I took more photos there, of groups, candids and of the couple too.

Then we drove to Italy, that was special, going to another country for a party! The Italian reception had a Venetian theme as they were going there for their honeymoon. The meal was outside, the food delicious, and the dancing a lot of fun.
